How to Divide Fractions?
Example: For dividing the fractions 10/15 and 1/5, you first find the reciprocal of the second fraction. The reciprocal of 1/5 is 5/1 . You then multiply the first fraction by the reciprocal of the second fraction.
10/15 ÷ 1/5
is the same as
10/15 x 5/1
The answer is 50/15 , reduced the simplest form is 10/3 .
